Introducing a new series on the blog, Epitome will talk about anything interesting this week, from news to trends and novelties.
1. Sabine Marcelis has created 10 resin fountains to celebrate fashion brand Fendi's decade of participation at Design Miami. The Italian brand marked its 10th anniversary at last week's fair with The Shapes of Water, an installation designed by the dutch designer and that all relate to the brand in some way.
2. The British designer Grace Wales Bonner explores mysticism, ritual and magical resonances within black cultural and aesthetic practices, through a multi-sensory installation and a series of happenings at the Serpentine Gallery, opening on 19 January 2019.
3. Espelma is a candle company that makes candles which are both beautiful and sustainable: made by glass-blowers in Murano, the colorful bowls can be refilled again and again with the naturally sourced wax.
4. I love the clothes by Carcel, a brand that gives jobs to women in prison. The Classic Milano jumper is made in prison by Rocio & Edith - Cusco, Peru.
